YamStudio was born from a simple frustration: interactive romance fiction was scattered across dozens of platforms, none of them designed to help creators thrive or readers find the stories they crave. We set out to change that.
Our Story
It started in fandom communities, where writers hand-coded branching stories in Twine and shared them on forums. The stories were brilliant — emotionally layered, replayable, deeply personal — but the tooling was painful. Discoverability was nonexistent. Monetization meant passing around tip jars.
We asked ourselves: what if there were a platform purpose-built for this genre? A place where a reader could search by mood — slow burn, second-chance romance, high-stakes drama — and instantly find their next obsession? Where a creator could build a branching narrative visually, publish it to a marketplace, and actually earn a living?
